About
Izumiya Koi Farm is one of Niigata’s most historic and pioneering breeders, established in 1947 in Ojiya, Japan. Founded shortly after World War II, the farm became one of the earliest retail-focused koi operations in the region and has since grown into a world-renowned name in metallic and large-framed Nishikigoi.
Originally led by Ichiro Mano and now managed by his son, Ryu Mano, Izumiya continues to uphold a legacy built on durability, growth potential, and vibrant coloration. The farm’s location in the Minaminigoro region of Ojiya places it at the heart of Niigata’s koi culture, where generations of expertise have shaped some of the finest bloodlines in the world.
