Kohaku It has been said that koi keeping begins and ends with Kohaku KOI. The history of Kohaku koi fish dates back to the 19th century in Japan when the first red and white carp were discovered and bred selectively to enhance their vivid coloration and distinctive patterns.
All koi are guaranteed to arrive alive. In the rare event of DOA, send a photo within 2 hours of delivery and we will replace or refund.
Koi ship in oxygen-sealed bags with temperature-controlled packaging. Delivery is typically 24–48 hours from dispatch. We do not ship during extreme weather.
Every fish is quarantined and health-checked at our Louisville facility before being offered for sale. Koi arrive eating and active.
